Imus: Here we go again

Last time he made national headlines was for his comments towards the Rutgers University women’s basketball team. Now, he is back in the news for comments in regards to Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones. The discussion that has caused a stir is:
“What color is he?” Imus asked.
“He’s African-American,” Wolf responded.
“Well, there you go,” Imus said. “Now we know.”

Upload Speed Increase
Filed in Web/Tech, June 14, 2008, 12:21 pmWe found out last Wednesday that Comcast was going to increase the upload speeds for internet subscribers starting Friday, 6/13. Sure enough, when I got home the increase had been applied. I am now receiving 12MBPS down and 2MBPS up.

Gas now greater than $4 per gallon
Filed in Current Affairs, Politics, May 27, 2008, 10:56 amWe all knew that the day would come and just prior to Memorial Day, gas has increased to over $4 per gallon near my house. That essentially means to fill my gas tank, it costs over $100 per week. Nice - thanks Bush!
Gregor, in all his wisdom, put something into perspective for me. Sure Americans are screamin’ about fuel costs, but Europeans also suffer the same fate as Americans when it comes to prices at the fuel pump. One of the biggest difference between Americans and Europeans - Europeans got smart and started using smaller and more fuel efficient vehicles a long time ago. Americans are just now starting to consider the change. Wikipedia has an interesting table with gas prices from around the world here. You think we got it bad, look at some of the other nations listed on the table from Wikipedia.
