Am I Really Catholic?

Between books like Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, and then not to mention all the stories of child molestions commited by priests, I am not sure if I really want to be Catholic or not. I thought religion was all about "saving" people. I was reading CNN today and they had an article about how there are 1,092 new allegations of sexual abuse. The church blows it off by saying…

"Most of the alleged incidents occurred decades ago: 72 percent of the priests were either dead, defrocked or removed from public ministry before the newest allegations were received, McChesney said."

Bottom line, one is too damn many. Priests are not supposed to live a life like Michael Jackson. The church needs to stop covering it up.
