Remaining Appliances Come Today!

The old dishwasher at Name_Removed’s house has been removed. It was pretty easy to get out too. Just have to remove the access panel, unplug the drain hoses and water lines, and unscrew 4 screws. After that, it just slides right out.

The new dishwasher should be delivered between 4 and 8 o’clock tonight. I can’t wait! Along with that, our new range is expected too. You might recall from last week that the range that was delivered was damaged. I had to refuse the shipment. Yesterday, the delivery group contacted the Maytag store we purchased the appliances from and they informed them that this range was also damaged. So instead of making us wait again, the sales person at the Maytag store upgraded our range to the one with the 12" burner on it. So we got an even better model for free!!

The range and microwave are scheduled to be installed tomorrow. We most likely won’t have the microwave fully installed because it doesn’t appear that the kitchen is wired for it. The existing range and microwave are all in one unit. Thus, the power for the microwave is coming from the range that is fed with 220 current. Time to call an electrician.
