Appliances Installed

Last night I finished the install of the new dishwasher. It was a lot easier then I thought. Just had to wire the power cable and plug in the water line. The drainage line went right into the pipes under the sink. I could have used the existing drain lines, but since it was an old dishwasher, it had to be vented. So when we would use the old dishwasher, the water would come out the vent. Now we don’t have that problem anymore. The dishwasher is awesome!

This morning the appliance installers arrived as scheduled. They installed the new range and microwave. As I was expecting, but hoping we did have it, the kitchen does not have a dedicated 110 power outlet for the microwave. So the microwave is not functioning right now, but the electrician will be out sometime next week. The range is up and running and what a monster. It looks awesome and is a big oven. The smooth-top stove is nice, especially that 12" burner that we got now. Me likes it!
