Avalanche Being Serviced; Again

Yesterday I dropped my truck off at the dealership. It was taken back in because the special part for my heated seat issue was delivered. The dealership has been working with the engineers at the Chevrolet HQ to try and resolve my issue. They have seen the issue before, but could not duplicate the problem. So, they shipped some special control module for my seat and they want me to be a "beta tester" for it. They want to know if it fixed my problem or made any other changes.

Along with the seat, I also have some whining noise that happens when you turn the wheel. I took it in before, but the dealership could not duplicate the problem. When I dropped it off yesterday I was finally able to get the mechanic to hear the problem. They said the issue was with my front differential. They are basically rebuilding it now. I had to leave my truck overnight. They said it will be done today.

I hope that my truck will finally be fixed. I am getting kind of fed up with taking it in all the time with electrical issues. I know Chevy’s have electric issues from time to time, but for my truck, it is a constant issue. I have had seat issues, door issues, windshield wiper issues, heating/ac issues, etc. etc.

Most people, when they have an “issue” with their seat (or heated seat no less) just get their significant other to give them a nice paddling. That usually resolves it. If you are referring to your sorry excuse for a vehicle, a heated seated is a prissy girl option that they use to get the car off the lot. Since they figure women will have to return to the delearship and not figure it out how to fix things themselves (yes they still hate girls) it’s really just a plan for instant profit. They can get folks to spend cash hand over fist fixing these inane girly items whil allowing the funtional systems to lapse in maintenance. Honey, they got your goose and your buns are still an issue.
