The Squeaks

My old cat that passed away a few years ago suffered from feline diabetes. One of the symptoms was thirst. This cat would drink water like it was going out of style. My current cat, the Squeaks, has started drinking a lot of water. She still has the same personality, eats, and is active. She grooms herself like she normally does and looks fine. The only thing different is the consumption of water. I called the vet and she has an appointment today at 4:00. I am betting that they will tell me that nothing is wrong and she just needs more water.

Update: The vet didn’t seem totally concerned, but she did say "hey, the cat is 18". So after we talked for a bit, I signed the Squeaks up to get a full blood panel done on her. The test itself is $130, but it will gives is a good idea of what is going on if anything at all.
