WordPress Rules!!!

Okay, so I installed WordPress on my web server today. The install process was a walk in the park. Upload a few files via FTP and click a link. That’s it!! WordPress installs itself.

One of my biggest concerns was what am I going to do with all my old postings on my TypePad blog. I did some searching around and found out that WordPress has a script to import data from Moveable Type blogs. That’s great news because Movable Type and TypePad are made by the same company! Once I exported the data from TypePad, the import process took about 5 seconds and all of my posts are now cataloged on this new blog stored on my MySQL database.

You can now search all of my old content too!
