We’re Still Friends

Name_Removed and I had a long talk on Thursday night. We talked about our living arrangements and other stuff. The conversation was healthy, and I think we both needed to get some stuff off our minds. After talking, Name_Removed and I both came to the conclusion that it is best we dot not get married. We both realize that we are still good friends, and that needs to last a lifetime.

Our conversation addressed both our needs. We are not mad at each other. It wasn’t one of those “she did this & he did that”. It was clearly healthy dialogue and no one was out to bash or hurt the other.

While I am saddened to realize the loss that I am experiencing, I can be very thankful for the time I had with Name_Removed. I can be very thankful for the memories that we shared. We had our ups and downs, but the time I was with Name_Removed I will cherish forever. Name_Removed and I are going to continue to be great friends. She is a wonderful person and I am thankful that I can still have her in my life.

No matter what, Name_Removed will always have a special place in my heart.
