Missing Dog Found From Accident

There was a terrible car accident on I-90 on Thanksgiving night near my mom’s place. Someone was driving on the wrong side of the road and hit an oncoming vehicle. The news just so happened to be driving at the same time and pulled over to see what happened. The camera man began recording and surveying the scene. The microphone could pick up the audio of one of the drivers. You could hear the pain in his voice, but he asked “could someone check on my dogs?”. The man had 3 dogs in the back of his pickup truck. The thought of those dogs being injured made my heart sink (yea, I am soft). News reported that they found 2 of the 3 dogs. The missing dog was “ejected from the truck during the accident”. That was the worst news you could hear. Could it be alive and wandering around I-90? The driver of the SVU that was driving the wrong way was pronounced dead on the scene. We don’t know what exactly happened because the “investigation is still pending”.

This morning, a friend of the dog owner went to the wrecking yard where his truck was towed. He could hear this faint noise coming from the truck that sounded like a dog. Believe it or not, the missing dog was in the back of the truck and alive. They took the dog to the nearest animal hospital and the dog is currently recovering. Talk about one of those sad stories that get’s a good twist to it. I would hate to think that my dog could be missing.
