Upgraded To WordPress 2.0 RC3

I upgraded my blog software to the new WordPress 2.0 Release Candidate 3 version. The upgrade was super simple! Just had to delete some files from the FTP directory, upload the new files, and load the upgrade PHP page. Within a few seconds….it was done.

The final version of WordPress 2.0 is scheduled to be released on 12/26. The reason I upgraded was to just make sure all my plugins and themes worked with the new version. The biggest enhancement to version 2 is the addition of a WYSIWYG editor for posts. Some other features are listed here. I did find that the Tiger Style Administration plugin doesn’t seem to work properly with the new version of WordPress. Hopefully an update for this will be released soon.
