Tony Dungy’s Son Found Dead

With all the excitement and anticipation of Saturday’s game between the Seahawks and the Colts, the news of the passing Tony Dungy’s son (head coach of the Colts) really makes fellow NFL players, coaches, and even fans put things into perspective. Tony Dungy’s son, James, was found dead in his Tampa apartment early this morning. According to some reports from the Tampa police, the cause of death appears to be a suicide, but they won’t officially announce the cause of death until the autopsy is complete. The NFL Network has been playing clips of all the head coaches throughout the league send their condolences to the Dungy family.

Obviously with these tragic events taking place for the Dungy family, Coach Dungy will not be at Saturday’s game vs. the Seahawks. I will be at the game on Saturday and I hope they have some kind of moment of silence in support for Coach Dungy before the game starts.
