Got The House!!!
I can officially say ‘home sweet home’. Jay and I signed the lease today and we move in on Monday. The house is great. The landlord is friggin’ awesome. He basically said we can do what ever we want. Mount a DirecTV dish? No problem!! Frame in the carport to make a secure garage? No problem!! I will post some photos of the house to my photo gallery when we move in. I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am.
gratz!!! However, would it surprise you for me to say that I’ve recently been thinking of going with Comcast?
I know it’s shocking, but I’m coming to the conclusion that HDTV over satellite is, well, a bit less than ideal. Don’t get me wrong, Comcast is a warty beast to be sure, but they got it goin’ on when it comes to HD channels.

Fight the feeling of going to Comcast!!! You must remain strong. Humanity depends on your staying with DirecTV and leaving Comcast. The only thing I will use Comcast for is the HSI. If someone else offered 5 mbps for the price of cable, then I wouldn’t be on Comcast. Switching to Comcast for HD might give you….um…a couple of channels, but what happens if something goes wrong? That idea of customer service is not something Comcast specializes in. Check out some details of the recent Sea Launch that DirecTV. You will find more goodies on HDTV with the new satellites.
