Seahawks ‘Blue Friday’ in Seattle

To celebrate the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers, the Seahawks organization is encouraging all fans to participate in “Blue Friday”. I will be participating in ‘Blue Weekend’. I got my Seahawks jersey, Seahawks Hat, Seahawks sweatshirt, and if it get’s really cold….the Seahawks knit hat. According to the Seahawks website, the downtown Seattle buildings participating in “Blue Friday”:

• Equity Office Corporation (Will feature a 5’ x 40’ ‘Go Seahawks’ banner and blue and green rings of lights atop the building)
• Wells Fargo Center (Lights in the windows of the 46th Floor will read ‘Go Hawks’)
• Pemco Headquarters (Will raise the 12th Man Flag)
• The Smith Tower (Will raise the 12th Man Flag)
• The Wright Construction project north of REI (Will raise the 12th Man Flag)
• Many Vulcan Inc. buildings, which are owned by Seahawks owner Paul Allen, will also feature Seahawks flags and banners.
