Hearing Loss from iPod
A class action lawsuit was filed against Apple because an iPod owner is suffering from hearing loss because of his iPod.
According to the suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in San Jose, iPods are “inherently defective in design and are not sufficiently adorned with adequate warnings regarding the likelihood of hearing loss.” It asks the court to order Apple to pay compensation and make upgrades to the device to make it safer. These lawsuits drive me nuts! Experts are already saying that this lawsuit has little chance for success, but waste a time of out judicial system. If your iPod is too loud for you, turn the damn thing down. Not very difficult. If you don’t know how to turn the volume down, read the f**king manual! If you don’t want to read the manual, then let’s sign up for the iPod 101 class. The class is free of charge and offers nice little pictures to look at.
