Coming Home

I am coming home today. Leaving Atlanta tonight at 7:00 pm EST. The trip has been a lot of fun and I think I learned a lot about some up-coming projects. It was nice to meet with all the people I work with everyday. Sleep was something that did not come easy though. Every night I was staying awake until 1:30 am or 2:00 am. It’s hard to adjust to that 3 hour time zone change, but it’s also because we went out every night.

Take Tuesday for example. We went out to dinner with one of my favorite vendors. After dinner, we all started to have some fun and drank some ‘irish car bombs‘. I have a weakness for these. Once I start, I can’t stop. One of ladies in Redmond that I work with had a car bomb with me. She pounded it!!! I was shocked. She drank them just about as fast as I did.

Heck, last night, we drank in the hotel lobby and I experienced the ‘Waffle House’ for the first time. I guess they’re all over the south, but I’ve never seen them in Seattle.
