Slovenia

I met Gregor while posting news for DotProject. I’ve known him for about 5 years now. For years we talked about me coming out to Slovenia and visiting. We would talk about how he would take me around the country and also be my translator. I could also stay at his place free of charge. Bring some spending money, pay for the flight, and bada-bing….I am in Slovenia.

I promised Gregor years ago that I would one day come out and visit him. Well, I intend to keep that promise. These last couple of days, Gregor, Vesna (his girlfriend), and I have been making some more concrete plans for me to fly out. Today his brother talked about taking me into Italy. If memory serves me correct, I think his brother can speak multiple languages like Gregor. Gregor speaks very good english so I don’t see much of a language barrier between us. Anyway, the plans are for me to fly out to Slovenia in July and stay for about 3 weeks. My flight would take me from Seattle to London, then London to Vienna (Austria), and then Vienna to Graz (Austria) where Gregor and Vesna would pick me up. We would spend most of the time in Slovenia, but would attempt to visit Italy, Austria, and maybe Croatia.

It basically looks like I am going to Slovenia this summer
