Back to the ATL
I’m all packed and ready to go. Well, as ready as I can be. I am going to Atlanta again for work. Unlike other trips, this won’t be one of those quick trips. I am staying for 2 weeks :-(. I am going to be doing some testing on a couple of projects that we have been working with our IT department on. I can’t say that I am totally excited, but it should be fun.
My Grandma totally saved the day when she ironed and folded all my work shirts. She does that real Marine Corp crease in them where perfection is required. Some of my shirts, like the polo shirts, look like they are friggin’ brand new again. Totally cool!
One downside about traveling to Atlanta for work is the work environment difference. In Redmond, things are a little bit more relaxed and layed back. In the Redmond office I can wear jeans and crap like that. Atlanta on the otherhand, wearing jeans in a major no-no. The people I work with are really cool, but it doesn’t seem like they can have “fun”.
