Good Times in Atlanta
Believe it or not, but I have actually had a lot of fun so far in Atlanta. Friday we partied in Decatur which is a suburb of Atlanta. We were at this bar drinking some beers when a couple of gals I was out with went to the restroom. While in the restroom they were approached by this one woman asking if she could buy them a drink. After this woman discovered that they were “straight”, she came out of the bathroom and approached me. She kissed me on my cheek, gave me a hug, and then whispered in my ear that she was bisexual. Decatur is basically like the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. It was a long night and I didn’t get back to my hotel until 4:30 am. For the record, nothing happened with that woman. It was kind of funny that we all got hit on by the same person. LOL!
Saturday we went out to the Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta. The highlands is an up-scale part of Atlanta with a lot of fun funky bars that people go to. We had dinner at this Mexican restaurant called “Sala”. The food was amazing, but the Mojitos were even better.
Yesterday we had a small brunch at this co-workers house in downtown Atlanta. My boss and her daughter also showed up so we did little BBQ and sat around outside just BS’n. The weather couldn’t have been any better!
Sometime later this week I am supposed to go on this tour of the Atlanta Brewery and also hit up a couple Irish Pubs in town These are all non-official work events, but hey, I need to see what this town is all about.
