House Changes and Additions

The rental house is becoming more and more dialed in. When Jay and I moved in, we basically received permission to do as we please, just as long as we don’t destroy the house. While I was away in Europe, Jay and his little brother painted our living/TV room. Each wall is a slightly different shade of brown, with the fireplace being painted an even darker shade of brown. When you tie all the walls together, and look directly at the fireplace, the room looks awesome! Now I am Jay’s side; let’s paint some other rooms.

This last weekend Jay and I installed a hot tub. We’ve talked about since the day we moved in, but never got around to it. Finally, we got off our lazy butts and installed the tub. It’s a 1990 Caldera Spa that seats 8 (according to ads), but realistically it sits 6 comfortably. The spa has jets everywhere, a foot dome, and a whirlpool jet. It runs relatively quiet even when the blower is sounding off firing more power into the jets.

I recently took some photos of the inside of the house, but now that everything is all cleaned and the living room has been painted, I need to take some more photos.

Do you want to borrow some tarps? Wouldn’t want to get paint on anything nice!
