Back In The Day

Optimus PrimeBack in the good ‘ol days we had Transformers. I’m talking about the real Transformers. I sure wish I had all my old Transformers. It makes me sick seeing how much the old vintage Transformer toys are selling for. It’s almost like the old Transformers toys are the Mickey Mantel baseball card from my parents generation. I am sure my mom could tell lots of stories of me with Transformers, which she won’t, but I cannot wait for the new Transformers movie to be released. I’m sure it’s going to be another one of those over-hyped Sci-Fi movies [War of the Worlds], but regardless, I can’t wait and I hope I’m the first in line! The dude that did the voice-over for Optimus Prime in the 1986 movie is supposedly doing the Optimus Prime voice over in the new movie.

Some new photos of the movie were released onto the net and it made me think of the old Transformers movie. I loved the Transformers so much so that I remember crying when Optimus Prime died. After watching all the episodes, which I own on DVD, I swore Megatron was my worst enemy. I was devastated! I am probably still tortured by his death to this day.

On July 4, 2007, be prepared for: TRANSFORMERS - more than meets the eye! TRANSFORMERS - robots in disguise!
