Got To Play With Vista

VistaYesterday Michelle took me to Circuit City to cheer me up. Nothing cheers up a geek like a little geek-retail therapy. While we were there, it was obvious that Circuit City was preparing for the Microsoft Vista launch. While I was walking around in the computer component section, they just so happened to have two working display laptops with Vista Ultimate installed.

At first glance it appears to be a more pretty version of XP, but after playing with it, I want it more. Call me an early adopter if you will. Call me what you like, but Vista sure does look pretty. The whole search feature appears to consume a lot of RAM, but Vista is definitely one step closer to offering some of the services that are available in OS X.

It’s only a matter of time, days most likely, and I should have a licensed retail copy of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

    LAWL to Khan!

There’s a month in which i really suggest Vista to Hasonman. Why? Because it’s worth it. Because it’s from a company based near Hason. Because it’s just Microsoft. What? It’s new generation of Windows.

But… there’s also a month, in which, i’m telling Hasonman i would like to replace my primary OS (Vista Ultimate) with some of the *nix distro’s aka. Ubuntu, opensuse or fedora.

So, there is 50% chance to go to one thing or another. If i would have one second to live, and need to suggest OS in it… i would say… there’s a future in *NIX based systems… but there’s also future in new modular based OS Microsoft is developing ;)

…me? I prefer processes shutted down, spam mails trashed and penises enlarged.

    -my job? SLES9.3. home? vista ultimate… at… the… moment!!!

Funny you mention Linux :wassat:. It was just today I was talking to a co-worker about setting up my computer to dual boot Windows Vista and SuSE Linux.

Why Linux? I don’t know… I just want to play with it.
