Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle, WA
Today my mom and I drove to downtown Seattle to meet one of her friends. The plan was to go check out the Olympic Sculpture Park. We arrived into downtown this morning at about 10:30. We parked just below the Public Market. Once we had parked the car, we walked up the hill to the Public Market. Seattle’s Public Market is the ‘Mecca’ of people watching. You’ll find all sorts of people here. The shopping is great too with shops offering hand made goods and fresh produce. The Public Market is most famous for the salmon tossers.
The sculpture park was about a half mile (804 meters) walk. As soon as the park comes into view, you’ll immediately be taken back by the views. Not just of the park itself, but looking out to the Puget Sound. It’s the perfect place to just sit and enjoy the views during a warm sunny day. Today wasn’t exactly warm and sunny, but at least it wasn’t raining. The park itself contains a small amphitheatre that is named after Bill & Melinda Gates. Around the park are different plants and trees that are native to the Northwest. The sculptures are placed randomly throughout the park, almost forcing the eye to browse the entire park. It’s free for anyone to check out. I highly recommend checking it out since it’s nice to just try something different.
I took some photos while we were in downtown and at the park. I just got a new digital camera so I am still playing with all the settings.

Where are the pictures of your mom and the Friend?
those were taken on her camera. You know, he did take a couple of pictures of the momma and I. From what I could see on the little LCD screen of his camera; they turned out really well.
