Playing Games With The New Boss

I like to call one of my managers “boss” or “boss lady” or what ever stupid authoritative term I can think of. My manager is a very nice lady and wants to be 100% professional at all times, but being referred to as boss drives her crazy. She always lets out this big sigh every time I say “yes boss” when she calls me over. Being the guy that I am and one whom always likes to push the envelope, I had to take this to another level.

One night when Steph was in town we were surfin’ all our favorite t-shirt websites to see what all they had. She told me about this one called Zazzle, so while browsing I stumbled upon this coffee mug. The front side of the coffee cup states “That’s Mrs. Boss To You“. This couldn’t have been more perfect - it was cheap and customizable. So I ordered the pink one and within a matter of days, I had it delivered to my apartment.

Expecting my manager to let off a huge sigh, or even be a little irritated at me - when I gave her the coffee mug she just laughed. You could almost hear her on the whole floor when she yelled out my name after she read what it said. Needless to say she thought it was hilarious, but I think that all of us on the team enjoyed her reaction even more.
