Biography

To get you up to speed, I am currently working for a wireless telecommunications provider in Bellevue, Washington. I currently work in the Supply Chain department supporting retail operations. My entire career - I guess - has been in the wireless telecommunications sector. I had previously worked at AT&T Wireless –> Cingular –> at&t in their Supply Chain department. Over those 6 years I met a lot of wonderful people and grew professionally.

I was born and raised in the lovely town of Shoreline, Washington. Shoreline has been my home town until about 6 months ago. My mom, Karen, moved to Bellevue when she married Ed. Ed passed away on August 1, 2004 from complications of cancer. Ed was diagnosed late in 2003 and battled his cancer until his last breath. Ed was the owner of the Spa Doctor company. My mom is now the current owner of his company so that we may carry on all the hard work that Ed put into his company. Ed was laid to rest in St. Joseph, Missouri, where his father and other family members reside. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about Ed. I miss him dearly.

My bio-dad currently resides in Kirkland. I haven’t seen much of him. He left when I was about 10 and really didn’t participate in raising myself or my sister. How one could leave his flesh and blood behind like that blows me away. He is currently married to another woman and adopted her daughter. I honestly believe I am better off without him. I have more respect and admiration for my mother because of all the stuff she dealt with raising my sister and me as a single mother. Hat’s off to her.

My little sister, Stephanie, is currently attending Washington State University pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She has known what she has wanted to be since she could talk. Here she is years later doing exactly what she said she would do. Steph is already a graduate from Colorado State University.

At heart, I am a computer geek. I think of computers and technology as more of a hobby and an interest. Best Buy is some dangerous territory for me. I am a “toy” guy when it comes to the electronics. It appears that my career choices are leading me towards the business aspect of life. Maybe focusing on Supply Chain rather than IT is what I look to do. I like to use my technological knowledge to help me improve my work within the business sector. I have tried out the IT thing, but it’s not where I want to be. I don’t see myself as a systems admin. I see myself more in management maybe. Web design/programming is becoming a hobby of mine. I used to hate looking at code with a passion. Now for some reason, I am very interested in it.

To go along with the whole geek theme, what geek doesn’t just love caffeine? I am a HUGE coffee addict. I love coffee. I love soda. One year, my co-workers bought me a case of Jolt soda since I am such a caffeine freak. Got to love co-workers like that!

Family, friends, and my pets are what matter most to me. I am a simple guy when it comes to that. I enjoy traveling, but didn’t really get into the whole traveling scene until a few years ago.
