About Me

My MugshotMy name is Jason M. Anderson. I am currently dating a wonderful woman who inspires me every day. We live together in Maple Valley, Washington, with our six-year-old yellow Labrador, Sebas, our non-social Siamese cat, Sasha, and our newest family member the little kitten, Bailey.

I am a business analyst for a wireless telecommunications company. I like what I do and I enjoy the people I work with. You cannot ask for anything more.

I grew up in a small suburb of Seattle, Washington, and graduated from a Catholic High School in 1998. I mention this high school since it was supposed to prepare me for college. Unfortunately for me, I was not prepared and did not complete a college education. My indecisive nature still keeps me from knowing what I want to be.

My wonderful mother raised me a Catholic and had me attend catholic school starting in the first grade. I was never a practicing Catholic nor believed that marriage was only a union between a man and a woman. I’m not gay but religion and politics need to stop trying to control the family life of some households. I feel my faith has provided me important values that I live by today. Religion in itself is a beautiful thing.

I know where my father is but he didn’t want anything to do with me. Why do I want to deal with him?

My amazing younger sister is about to graduate from the Washington State University School of Veterinarian Medicine. She has known she wanted to be a Veterinarian since she was four years old. I couldn’t be prouder for her following her dreams and accomplishing everything that she’s done so far. My little sister is growing up so fast.

I started this website in September 2005. The site wasn’t dedicated to any particular topic, rather a medium for me to express opinions and feelings. At that time, I was about to become engaged for the first time and truly learn what I wanted in a lifelong partner. In years past I would blog about my frustrations with work, and not really focus on me. I plan on continuing this site with the focus on what I am doing and what interests me. I need to step away from work and learn to unplug more.

This website chronicles my life from when I was 25 and thought I knew everything, to any of my random political views, to times with different girlfriends, to my frustrations with work, to who knows what else I’ve mentioned. I am getting my shit in order. I promise.

Traveling is something I love and really want to do more of. I’ve spent some time in Belize and Slovenia. I will return to Slovenia again and visit the most wonderful people I have met. I have many places on my list I want to see. I can’t wait to see where my next journey takes me.

I love beer, pizza, my girlfriend, politics, technology, and television shows that keep me from doing something else.
