Windows Live Writer Working!

Hey look at me - I’m making a post with Windows Live Writer :). Microsoft just recently released beta 3 of Live Writer and I am finally able to use the darn thing with WordPress. I totally need to setup my mom with this so she can make additions on the Spa Doctor website! The application has a very familiar user interface. Me likey….

Forced To Change Theme

Previously my site was running on PHP 5.1.2 and my theme, Fauna, would work perfectly fine. Well, this afternoon DreamHost upgraded their servers to PHP 5.2. Fighting Spammers!

Over the last 3 days my website has been hammered by spam bots. To date, one of my spam plugins has stopped >6000 spam comments from being posted. To aid in the fight against spammers, I’ve added a couple new spam fighting plugins to my arsenal. The arsenal currently contains:
1.) Akismet
2.) Bad Behavior
3.) Spam Karma [...]


A New Toy for WordPress

Eric found this cool plugin for WordPress. Once I saw it, I had to have it. It makes it super easy to add audio clips, music, or what ever to your blog posts.

The plugin is called Audio Player.


Changes for DotProject

Towards the end of March, Gregor and I did some changes to the DotProject website. This is the website I would post technology related news that I found on the internet. I met Gregor on DotProject.
